SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions govern the text messaging program operated by Memphis Ranch Meat Company, which sells grass-fed bison under the brand name Primal Bison. The two names refer to the same company. Text messages you receive from us will identify Primal Bison, Memphis Ranch Meat Company, or both.

1. Program description

By opting in, you agree to receive text messages (SMS/MMS) from Memphis Ranch Meat Company (Primal Bison). The messages we send fall into these categories:

  • Customer care. Replies to questions you send us about your order, delivery, product availability, cooking, or anything else. These are written by a member of our team.
  • Delivery notifications. For customers in our local delivery area whose orders we deliver personally, messages confirming your delivery window, arrival time, and any changes. You can reply to reschedule or give us access instructions.
  • Order updates. Confirmations and status information relating to an order you placed.
  • Marketing. Product restock announcements, seasonal availability, and promotional offers. Marketing messages are sent only to customers who have separately opted in to receive them. Consent to marketing messages is never a condition of any purchase.

2. How to opt in

You may opt in to receive text messages from us by:

  • Texting our business line at (720) 713-1622. We treat your message as consent for us to reply to you.
  • Providing your phone number when you place an order on our website. We use that number for order and delivery information relating to that order.
  • Checking the SMS consent box on a signup form on our website, where offered.
  • Providing written or verbal consent in person at a farmers market or other event where we sell our products.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on how often you contact us, whether you have an active order, whether you are in our local delivery area, and whether you have opted in to marketing messages.

4. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply to every message sent to or from your device. Memphis Ranch Meat Company is not responsible for any charges imposed by your carrier. Check your mobile plan if you are unsure what those charges are.

5. How to opt out — reply STOP

You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us.

After you reply STOP, we will send a single confirmation message letting you know you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will receive no further messages from us unless you opt in again.

If you want to rejoin later, opt in again using any of the methods in Section 2.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered, as delivery depends on your carrier, your device, and your coverage.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of information sharing described in our Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your mobile number and consent record are shared only with the service providers that deliver messages on our behalf, solely for that purpose.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. The effective date above indicates when they were last revised. Continued participation in our text messaging program after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
